What Is Emsculpt?

The EMSCULPT is the only procedure to help both women and men build muscle and sculpt their body. In addition, the EMSCULPT creates the world's first non-invasive buttock toning procedure. Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to trigger what's called supramaximal contractions (the kind that cannot be achieved by voluntary muscle action). It's cleared by the Food and Drug Administration for the "improvement of abdominal tone, strengthening of the abdominal muscles, development of firmer abdomen, [and] strengthening, toning, firming of the buttocks.”

HOW DOES EMSCULPT WORK?
The non-invasive HIFEM® procedure induces powerful muscle contractions not achievable through voluntary contractions.
When exposed to strong contractions, the muscle tissue is forced to adapt to such extreme conditions. It responds with a deep remodeling of its inner structure that results in muscle building and sculpting your body.
Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to force extremely powerful muscle contractions that are not possible with even the most rigorous workouts.
This forced activity then increases fat metabolism and muscle tone for a leaner, tighter, and firmer abdomen and backside.

How Is Emsculpt Different from Current Body Contouring Treatments?

Does EMSCULPT hurt?
EMSCULPT can be a little uncomfortable, depending on your own threshold, but is not painful and feels like an intensive workout. We will manage any discomfort by adjusting the power settings appropriately. As you become more used to the procedure and you know what to expect, each session will become more comfortable.
How long does an EMSCULPT treatment take?
Depending on the area to be treated, a typical treatment takes around 30 minutes and a standard course of 4 sessions is usually required for optimum results. We build your treatment protocol around your life; you can even come in during your lunch break for a session with us.
Do I need to do anything before or after a treatment with EMSCULPT?
You don’t have to do anything in preparation for your EMSCULPT treatment and there is no downtime or side-effects. It’s a workout without the sweat.
If you go to the gym, we only ask that you refrain from training the day before and the day after your treatments, so that your muscles can relax between treatments.
