Halo Hybrid Fractional

Experience total skin rejuvenation without the downtime with Halo.

Halo by Sciton is the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. This exciting new laser technology combines the benefits of non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to treat different signs of aging. It delivers precise results with a much easier and quicker healing experience than any other laser on the market today. The dual wavelengths unique to the Halo laser allow us to completely customize each patient’s treatment based on their skin’s unique needs and the desired downtime. Halo gives you the results you want without the downtime you expect.

Halo’s one-of-a-kind approach is more effective than the non-ablative method, which can take up to eight treatments for noticeable results, and it’s less invasive than the ablative method which requires more post-treatment downtime.

Benefits of Halo:

IT REMOVES FINE LINES AND WRINKLES.

The Halo hybrid fractional laser uses a combination of wavelengths to repair the visible signs of aging, sun damage, discoloration, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. Halo is intended to rejuvenate the skin with minimal downtime.

YOU'LL HAVE LITTLE TO NO DOWNTIME.

The Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser focuses energy on the deeper collagen layer of skin leaving the surface of your skin largely intact for a quicker healing time. It delivers the results of an ablative procedure with little-to-no downtime, like a non-ablative treatment. The best of both worlds!

GET READY TO RELEASE YOUR INNER GLOW.

Halo eliminates years of damage by precisely targeting the right depth. Halo restores the luminous glow you had when you were younger.

If you’re considering getting a Halo procedure, you'll need to schedule a consult with Dr.V. In the meantime, here are five things you should know about this awesome procedure!

Who should consider Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser therapy?

Halo laser therapy is an optimal procedure for those who are seeking quick results and don’t want to deal with a lot of downtime. It’s not only a treatment for aging skin, Halo corrects issues such as discoloration, uneven skin tone and enlarged pores. It also improves sun damage and scarring, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Because of the target areas of the treatment, adults of all ages and genders seek its benefits.

How does Halo work?

The technology behind Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser therapy combines non-ablativeand ablative lasers that pulse simultaneously. Whereas the non-ablative method heats up the top layer of the skin but doesn’t remove it, and the ablative method removes the outer layers of skin, this hybrid treatment reaches the deeper collagen layers without too much abrasion. Treatment plans are customized to individual client’s cosmetic goals, which determines the number of sessions and depth needed to achieve desired results.

What should I expect during the treatment?

You can expect to be at your cosmetic surgeon’s office for a couple hours each session. A topical anesthetic is used 30 to 60 minutes before the procedure. Next, your face is measured with a motion-tracking technology to ensure your skin is treated evenly. During the procedure, the Halo hand piece is rolled over each section of skin until the treatment is completed, indicated by the motion-tracking device. Discomfort is minimal for most patients and is described as a warm prickling sensation.

How long is the downtime?

With customized treatment plans and focus areas, you can work Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser therapy into your busy schedule. Light treatments leave you make-up ready the next day but may require additional sessions to achieve desired results; deeper treatments result in a quicker “wow” factor with just a few days of downtime. After a typical session, you will need to remain make-up free for at least 24 hours. Swelling and redness is common and your face may feel warm during this time. A cold compress can help to calm the skin, if needed. It’s important to remain out of the sun throughout the healing process.

When will I see results?

Initial results from your treatment can be seen between two and five days, once your skin has gone through the bronzing stage and peels to reveals your new, revitalized skin layers beneath. During the next few weeks you’ll notice continued improvement, especially in pigmentation. This will continue as your skin regenerates throughout the following months. By treating your skin kindly and using UV protection, your results can last for years to come.
